The Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm has been owned and operated by Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family since 2012. The farm borders two towns in the Guji zone of the Shakiso district of Ethiopia. The farm is dedicated to improving the lives of its 25 permanent, and 300 seasonal employees with higher wages and community support.
Ismael utilizes his own compost to fertilize the coffee plants and cares deeply about the sustainability of his farm.
