People are proud of being coffee farmers and are very competitive about who has the best coffee. Producers are well versed in traditional coffee farming practices with much of the coffee being shade grown. However, with a new emerging generation, there has been increasingly more experimentation with natural and alternative processing methods as producers have better access to industry trends and copious amounts of information.
